Lebanesse civilians have been reported (by AP) to suffer from white phosphorus burns. The white phosphorus burns are from Israeli missile attacks on the Lebanesse civilian populations.

The Geneva Convention bans the use of white phosphorus against civilians or civilian areas.

The USA still supports Isreal's right to defend itself. C. Rice, just back from Beruit, has reiterated the USA's refusal to call for a ceasefire. As has been exemplified by the Bush administration, breaking the Geneva conventions and pissing on bleeding heart conceptions of human rights and compassion is just part of the War on Terror.

Maybe we should change the name from the War on Terror to the War of Terror.

It appears that Israel and the USA have a similar conception of defence: attacking civilians with high tech weponry; inflicting a disproportionate amount of civilian deaths upon one's enemies; occupying foreign land.

Defence, huh?

I've been living life like every day is my last.

This is a very depressing way to live: everytime I leave the house I assume that it will be my last time seeing my wife and kids; everytime I do something enjoyable, I get sad thinking this will be the last time I get to do said enjoyable activity.

This has been going on for almost a year.

I think living everyday like it is your last is very bad advice.

Science to the rescue!

We were running low on clean drinking water. Fortunately I had a briliant idea that saved the day -- we diluted it and made it last longer.

You know how in Genesis, the evil Lamech says something like, "I killed a man for looking at me." -- the point being, this guy is really evil, going beyond justice (which is an eye for an eye) and taking the life of a man who insulted him.

Well, the recent war between Isreal and Lebenon reminded me of the evil Lamech. Hezbollah, an independing militant group that has is opperations in Lebenon, Syria and Iran, killed 2 Isreali soldiers and captured 2 Isrealli soldiers. In retaliation, Isreal bombards Lebenon, killing around 100 Lebonesse people, including civilians, and wounding around 200 Leboneze. And Lebenon didn't even do anything -- it was Hezbollah. That is like punishing the class for something 1 child did.

Well, Isreal reminded me of the evil Lamech, going beyond an eye for an eye and taking 100 civilian lives for 2 soldier's lives.

But it is a good thing that the wonderful Christian USA has not chimed in with the rest of the world and called for a cease fire. Instead, St. Bush says Isreal has the right to defend itself.

But I guess that is just the American way of war mongering: when one group attacks you, you attack the countries you don't like, even if the country you attack isn't associated with the organization that attacked you.
