Internationally, I believe this book is called The Fiesta.

Maybe I'm an uncultured baffoon, but this book was awful! Can someone please explain to me how to appreciate Hemingway? It wasn't even that the book was a chore to read. It reads pretty quickly considering that nothing happens.

247 pages of nothing happens. I waited 180 pages for the climax. Some climax: Narrator gets hit in the face. Quick, call the film studios...this one needs to be made into a movie!

And you want to talk about denoument. This is it: Narrator gets a black eye and has a drink.

I know all you Hemingway fan are out there are upset because I'm an idiot (and yes that was an intentional singular noun!), but in this critic's humble opinion this book sucks the BIG ducks!
